Tiger Ag-Botics - Reedley College (Reedley, CA)
Tiger Ag-Botics built an autonomous nighttime sprayer on an Amiga robotic base towing a 200-gallon tank, designed to take advantage of the calmer wind and lower evaporation conditions found after dark. A solar-assisted power system supports onboard LED lighting and a weather station, while dual canopy cameras drive variable-rate PWM nozzles for true target-aware spraying. RTK-GPS and LiDAR keep the platform on row, and the team independently built object detection and follow-me capability for the Amiga, functionality not yet released commercially. A rooftop drone pad rounds out the system, enabling automated reconnaissance flights and targeted spot-spraying alongside the main pass.
