Division II
Division II competitors are two-year community colleges demonstrating that accessible education and agricultural technology go hand in hand.
These teams are designing systems for real growers in their own backyards, from AI-guided artichoke monitoring at Hartnell Community College to solar-assisted nighttime spraying at Reedley College. Modesto Junior College's Pirate Precision team is automating plant thinning for leafy greens, while University of Hawai'i Maui College's Lemon Cart is collecting fallen citrus fruit to prevent pest and disease spread.
Division II teams prove that innovation is driven by grit, community, and purpose.
